Creative Ageing
Boost brain health and wellbeing and discover your latent creativity
Spark the joy of creative expression with the Creative Ageing classes, designed for people living with early-stage dementia and their carers. These weekly sessions offer a fun, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore art through multi-sensory and multimedia activities tailored to individual needs.
Activities are thoughtfully designed to accommodate different levels of cognitive and physical abilities*, fostering confidence and self-expression.
As an offshoot of the successful Drawing Memories program I’ve delivered in aged care facilities across NSW, these classes use proven techniques to boost brain health, build new neural pathways, and encourage meaningful social connections. Music and reminiscing add a special touch to the creative process.
No drawing experience is needed—just bring your curiosity!
Who is this for?
Older people, people living with dementia (early stage), or disability. It is recommended that carers attend/participate in the activities for free.
