Learn to draw in a supportive creative environment
Drawing invites us to slow down and look more closely at the world around us.
In these classes, students learn the foundations of drawing through observation, practice, and gentle guidance in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to drawing after many years, the process of learning to draw can be both rewarding and deeply enjoyable.

"I can't even draw a stick figure..."
Sound familiar?
If that thought has ever crossed your mind, you’re not alone.
Many students arrive feeling unsure about their drawing ability. With gentle guidance and practice, they soon discover that drawing is a skill that can be learned.
Most people are surprised by what they are able to achieve within a few weeks.
"Drawing Fundamentals classes were fantastic. Marg is a patient, fun teacher...The pace and content was terrific... I learnt so much and had a wonderful time". Linda W.
Why Drawing Matters
Drawing is not only a creative skill — it can also support wellbeing.
Research in the field of arts and health shows that creative activities such as drawing can help reduce stress, improve concentration and foster a sense of calm.
Most students find that spending time drawing provides a welcome pause from the busyness of everyday life and an opportunity to reconnect with their creativity - something every single human being was born to do.
